Prayer Opportunities

Prayer Walking

Join Pastor Jay and Staff by taking “The House” to the streets of New Braunfels!  Prayer walking is
simply praying out the vision of our church in our city.  Maps, scripture and prayers will be available
upon request for the walk to guide and inspire you as you walk.

A Prayer Guide for Prayer Walking

Prayer walking is simply praying where we expect to see God bring
forth answers to our prayers. Praying near the places where people live and
work can make it easier to focus and to unite prayer on their behalf.

• Pray with others or small teams of two or three.

• No need to be demonstrative. Be on the scene without making one.

• Pray with God’s Word to unite and focus your prayers with
   confidence

• In your small prayer groups, read scriptures aloud
as you walk. (See Prayer Resources)

Prayer and Fasting
Biblical fasting is “refraining from food for a Spiritual purpose”.Fasting is what prepares us for a new
anointing.  Resources are available to you for personal fasting.  See Pastor Lynne.

See You at the Pole – September

See You at the Pole is an annual gathering of Christian students of all ages at a flagpole in front of their local school for prayer, scripture-reading and hymn-singing, during the early morning before school starts. Encourage your students to participate in the See You at the Pole event to pray for
their teachers and fellow students to begin a relationship with Christ.
