Legacy Missions takes both a local and international approach to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether physically participating in local outreaches or financially supporting national/international missionaries in their Callings to serve others, we encourage our members to find ways to get involved and help spread the GOOD NEWS!
Our annual/bi-annual LOVE NEW BRAUNFELS event gives participants the opportunity to serve families in our area... right from our main campus grounds! Past events have included providing free laundry service and car washes, and we always plan fun activities for children of all ages who stop by.
We also partner with our local Salvation Army to provide Sunday evening meals for the poor and homeless on the third Sunday of each month, as well as assisting with their annual Thanksgiving meal. Other Salvation Army events we help sponsor on an annual basis include:
- Christmas Angel Tree (late November/early December) – Members of Legacy can sponsor a child (or multiple children) from our Christmas Angel Tree, giving local parents the opportunity to provide their children with Christmas presents they may otherwise be unable to afford.
- Ringing of the Bell (mid-December) – Legacy members are also able to help impact the Salvation Army's holiday fundraising efforts by signing up for a bell-ringing time slot during their Ringing of the Bell campaign.
Legacy Church takes part in monthly financial support campaigns for missionaries from two primary organizations — Love For the Least (L4L) and World Indigenous Missions (WIM).
- Love For the Least – L4L is a ministry that spreads the Gospel of Jesus Christ and provides relief to refugees in Northern Iraq and Eastern Africa. Aside from monthly financial support, Legacy Church also takes part in L4Ls annual Advent Conspiracy event to provide Christmas relief to families served by the ministry.

- Word Indigenous Missions (WIM) – WIM's ministry is to impact indigenous persons world-wide with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the building of relationships, the planting of indigenous churches, and the creation of strong mentorships that keep the missions work alive and healthy long after the missionary has departed.
